The STudies Are In:

Exporting U.S. Natural Gas is Bad

for American Consumers

and COmmunities.

People across America are speaking out, urging elected officials to stop approving new LNG export projects.

The time is NOW!

Tell the President:

Exporting LNG is NOT in the Public Interest.

What is LNG and Why Do We Need Policy Change?

LNG stands for “liquefied natural gas.” It’s made from drilling and fracking natural gas then freezing the chemical to sub-zero temperatures so it can be transported and sold to other countries.

Studies have shown that the process of extracting and then shipping natural gas can harm people and the environment by polluting air and water, contributing to public health concerns and increasing the dangers of extreme weather events.

LNG facilities and gas pipelines carry the additional risk of leaking gas and toxic chemicals like benzene, which is a chemical that has been linked to cancer.

We need policies that protect America. That means policies that say NO to LNG exports and YES to domestic clean energy production.

REad The STudy:

In December of 2024, the U.S. Department of Energy released a long-awaited, critical analysis of the environmental, economic, and public health impacts of liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports.

The findings are clear: Approving additional LNG exports will harm American consumers, undermine global progress on climate change, and worsen conditions for communities already overburdened by pollution.

The President shouldn't just finalize this analysis—he should act on it now by rejecting all pending LNG export permits.

It’s time to stand up for consumers, safeguard national security, and protect our climate and environment.

We need your voice too!
